The Hue In You

Some say life is full of ups and downs. Some say life is like a Ferris Wheel; sometimes you're on top and sometimes you're at the bottom. I say it's the former. Even though both statements have similar meanings, I would rather go up and down than spin around. What if my motion sickness kicks in? My life would then be a mess. Hehe. Also, in some adult-life scenario, it doesn't matter who's on top or bottom as long as you both enjoy the ride *wink*. Okay, I'm going to stop spouting nonsense. Hehe. I'm not really planning to ruin myself here. LOL.

Once upon a time, there lived a handsome young man...No...Not handsome at all. Let me start over. It will be serious from here onwards. I promise. *smiles*

There was a point in my life that was very low. It was a good thing my wife was there to save me. With one glance, she knew exactly how broken I am. Then, she whispered, "It's okay. Remember, a broken crayon still colors." I was perplexed by what she said. Took me a while to digest the meaning of her words. It was no surprise that my wife would say such things. At that moment though, I was left in awe; looking at the gorgeous and courageous woman who saved me once again. She was right. I'm still me regardless of what I feel inside; I still color their lives. After some time I asked, "If I'm broken like a crayon, can I still be fixed?" She smiled and said, "Yes, when you're ready you can melt all those sad hues away then start rebuilding yourself as a new and brighter hue (you)."

In life, no matter how broken or worn out we are, we still color the lives of people around us. Do you want them to be as blue or as bright as you? When you're at the lowest point of your life, being alone won't make you happy. Melt your sorrows away and let the people around you add brighter colors to your life. Broken or not you're still you. The happiness of others around you also depends on hue (you). Stay bright and shake those blues away.

So, what's the hue in you? What hue would you use to color the life of others around you? Is it sad and blue or happy and yellow?
